Replacement nuvi battery and memory cards

A 32GB microSD memory card is required to install replacement maps, as older Garmin nuvi and Drive models do not have enough internal memory space. Get a 32GB memory card on eBay. 64GB or greater microSD memory cards will not work. The memory card must be 32GB.

Special instructions for specific models

• Garmin nuvi 200 series with gray sticker serial number: See this video for example of map update process.
• Garmin nuvi 1350, 1390, 1450, 1490 models: Requires map data to be put into folder called MAP on memory card. You create the folder; it is not automatic.
